Hi, I'm Jan Williamson and I had bariatric surgery on May 31, 2004. As you can see my weight has changed, but not only has my weight changed but my entire life is different now. The change involved determination on my part as well as the strong support of my family and friends. My husband (Bart) and I wrote a book that chronicles our journey from the morbidly obese "Old" Jan to the active and healthier "New" Jan. We explain some of the physical changes that are experienced with weight loss surgery as well as the emotional changes that present the greatest challenge. Our book, Bariiatric Support...
